What Pressure Does a Blumat System Need?Updated 2 months ago
Blumat sensors rely on low water pressure.
If pressure falls below roughly 1 PSI the sensor cannot release water.
If pressure exceeds about 15 PSI fittings or tubing may leak or disconnect.
Different distribution methods perform best at different pressures, but all must stay within this safe range.
Step by Step Instructions:
1. Identify the pressure of your water source.
2. Ensure pressure is above 1 PSI so the sensors can release water.
3. Keep pressure below 15 PSI.
4. Install a pressure reducer when connecting to pressurized water lines.
