How Close Should the Sensor Be to the Water Source?Updated 2 months ago
If the sensor is too far from the watering pattern it may continue releasing water longer than necessary.
If it is too close it may shut off too quickly.
Placing the sensor within the wetting zone allows it to respond accurately to irrigation events.
Step by Step Instructions:
1. Place the drip point or tape first.
2. Install the sensor about 3–4 inches away.
3. Ensure the sensor sits within the watering pattern.
4. Confirm the soil wets evenly around both points.
